Maxi Schulze is a composer and music producer.
Born in Leipzig, she completed her classical music studies at the Frankfurt Musikhochschule in 2012. Besides her diploma in clarinet, she took songwriting and singing lessons with Annette Marquard (Xavier Naidoo, Sabrina Setlur), jazz clarinet with Norbert Emminger (HR-Big Band, SWR Big Band) and guitar lessons with Prof. Michael Sagmeister (Pat Martino, Berklee College of Music). She is the holder of several scholarships (including the Yehudi-Menuhin organisation "Live Music Now", sound engineering scholarship for London 2012). In addition, she completed a Master in Producing/ Composing at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg in 2013.
Maxi Schulze worked with producers such as Aiko Rohd (Tim Bendzko), Thomas Eiffert (Exclusive) and as well as Michael Beckmann at Cinesong Beckmann/Fessmann GbR (Lila, Lila; Fuck you Goethe 1+2, Tatort). She also writes and produces music for media for various publishing houses, including Universal Publishing Produktion Music, Warner/Chappell Production Music, Klanglobby/BMG and UBM. Her music for the stage play Titanic by director Klaus Gehre was premiered in 2015 at the Staatstheater Saarbrücken.
In addition to her work as a composer and music producer, Maxi Schulze is a sought-after studio musician for various well-known bands (including Sea+Air)
Her pieces move uniquely between neoclassic and pop, technical perfection and feeling, between interpretation and creativity.
